FAQ
Sun City's Original Questions
What does a seamless gutter project run in Sun City?
Measured free at the home, itemized before work begins — and Sun City's sensible single-story rooflines make these honest, efficient jobs priced accordingly.
Which gutter material holds up best in Sun City?
Genuine .032 aluminum, formed seamless — rust resistant where the originals rusted through, 50+ approved colors, lifetime material warranty, and gentle on fascia that's carried steel for sixty years. Copper is available where wanted; new galvanized would be trading one zinc clock for another, and we'll say so.
How quickly do you get to storm-damaged gutters?
Same-week, prioritized June 15 through September 30 — and if a storm hits while you're away for the season, a neighbor's call is enough to start the assessment. We'll coordinate the rest with you directly.
Which gutter sizes and profiles do you offer?
Seamless 5-inch and 6-inch K-style, proportioned honestly — most Sun City single-stories run perfectly on an exactly pitched 5-inch, and we'll tell you plainly when yours is the exception.
What warranties stand behind the work?
Two layers: our workmanship carries a 2-year warranty, and the genuine .032 aluminum itself is backed by a separate manufacturer lifetime material warranty.
How long will the installation take at my home?
One day, almost universally — these rooflines are the most efficient honest work in the Valley, and the runs are formed at your home that morning.
Does a desert town like Sun City really need gutters?
Yes — more precisely, you need gutters that work, and after sixty years most of Sun City's originals don't. The monsoon they can't carry lands on the landscaping, patios, and fascia the community keeps beautifully — a right-sized seamless run puts the water back in the system.
What do seamless gutters actually do in a monsoon?
A burst asks a gutter for everything at once, and steel from the Johnson administration has nothing left to give. Continuous .032 runs, proportioned to these rooflines and pitched exactly, carry the storm the originals now merely decorate.
Can you handle new-construction gutters in Sun City?
Rarely the question here — Sun City's work is retirement, not construction. But remodels and additions get their new eaves sized and matched to the rest of the system properly.
Will you repair a system another company installed?
We'll always give the honest answer — and on sixty-year-old steel, the honest answer is usually that patching rust is renting time. Where a repair truly holds, we'll do the repair.
Our gutters are original from the 1960s — is repair even worth discussing?
Worth discussing, rarely worth doing. Steel-era originals fail as a system — the zinc is gone, the metal thins everywhere at once — so a patch buys months while the next weak point queues up. At this age, one clean .032 replacement almost always costs less over five years than serial repairs, and we'll show you the math at the estimate.
Are you properly licensed and insured for this work?
Fully — Arizona Contractor AZROC #346705, plus we're licensed in Nevada (NVLIC #0093742), and insured on both sides of the line. Dual licensing is how we serve the whole service area legitimately.
Do you work throughout all the Sun City phases and circles?
Yes — every phase and circle: the original 1960 sections, the 70s phases, the lake areas, the golf-course lots, and the recreation-center districts. Every run is formed on site in genuine .032 aluminum from the approved palettes.
